Sicilian Tuna Casarecce

1 lb (500 g) CASARECCE GRANORO GLUTEN FREE #GF475 pasta cooked Al Dente

INGREDIENTS

  • 125-250 ml (1/2 to 1 cup) cooking water
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 containers (2 x 180 g = 360 g) mini tomatoes cut in half
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp.) capers
  • 180 ml (3/4 cup) mixed olives
  • Chopped basil leaves
  • 1 can of tuna in oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

  1. In a large non-stick skillet, heat the oil. Sweat the garlic for 1 minute. Add tomatoes, capers, olives and basil. Season. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add pasta and cooking water. Mix. Cook for 1 minute.
  3. Add the can of tuna (oil too and mix well.
  4. Serve and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
